Artemio Herrero
Artemio Herrero Davó is full Professor for Astrophysics at the Universidad de La Laguna and staff researcher at the Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias. His main scientific interest is in the field of observations, modelling and analyses of massive star, mainly in the UV-optical-NIR domain. He is co-author of more than 200 refereed papers, has participated in many meetings and workshops. He participates in several instruments, including WSO, and supervised 11 PhD. He has been Director of the Astrophysics Department at the ULL, Head of the Research Division at IAC and member of the Claustro at the Universidad de La Laguna. Presently, he chairs the IAU Commission G2 on Massive Stars.
